Every piece we export travels thousands of kilometres before it reaches your hands. Here's a look at the drop-ship packaging system we follow to make sure it arrives exactly as it left our workshop in Jaipur.
Terracotta, paper mâché, and other handcrafted goods are fragile by nature. That's why our packaging isn't an afterthought — it's built specifically for international export, long transit times, and multiple handling points along the way. Every order goes through the same layered packing process before it leaves our facility.
How We Prepare Every Shipment
Our packaging process
From the moment a product is packed to the moment it's loaded for dispatch, it passes through several checks and protective layers.
Drop Test
Before finalizing a packing method for any product, we run a drop test to check how the packaging holds up under handling stress and impact — the same conditions a shipment faces in transit.
Poly-Fill Packing
Each item is individually cushioned with poly-fill material, creating a soft buffer around the product that absorbs shocks and prevents surface damage.
Thermocol Protection
Thermocol sheets and moulded blocks are used around delicate edges and corners to prevent chipping or cracking, especially for terracotta and paper mâché pieces.
Plastic Wrapping
Every product is wrapped in plastic film to guard against moisture, dust, and humidity during transit — particularly important for long sea and air shipments.
Inner Boxes
Wrapped products are placed into sturdy inner boxes sized to the item, minimizing internal movement and giving an added layer of structural protection.
Master Cartons
Inner boxes are consolidated into export-standard master cartons, reinforced and sealed to meet international freight-handling requirements.

Product Inspection & Drop Test
Every packaging design is drop-tested before it's approved, so we know it can handle the bumps of real-world logistics — not just a controlled warehouse environment.
Poly-Fill Cushioning
A soft protective layer wraps directly around the product, absorbing vibration and minor impacts throughout the journey.
Thermocol Reinforcement
Rigid thermocol shields corners, edges, and protruding details — the areas most likely to be damaged during handling.
Plastic Wrap Seal
A moisture-resistant plastic layer keeps out humidity, dust, and water exposure during ocean freight or long-haul transit.
Inner Box
The wrapped, cushioned product is boxed individually, keeping it stable and preventing it from shifting inside the shipment.
Export-Standard Master Box
Inner boxes are grouped into reinforced master cartons, built and sealed to meet international export packing standards for freight and customs handling.

All our products are handmade by skilled artisans. As a result, size, colour, and weight may vary slightly from piece to piece — no two pieces are identical. These small variations are part of what makes each item genuinely handcrafted, and are not considered manufacturing defects.
